The hand and wrist are commonly susceptible to sprains and fractures. Fortunately, treatment is accessible and effective and ranges from rehabilitation physiotherapy to bracing, casting and massage. Often with hand and wrist injuries, stretching and strengthening exercises are integral to preventing a return of pain.
We treat:
- post fracture- after the removal of cast regaining the movement and strength is important
- acute sprains and strains
- Carpal Tunnel syndrome
- De Quervain’s tenosynovitis (thumb tendon overuse)
